Community Guidelines

The short version: be genuine, be useful, don't be a pain. That covers about 95% of it. The rest is below.

Who this is for

Real UK traders ‐ beginners to full-timers, all markets welcome. If you trade or seriously want to learn, you belong here.

What we love

  • Honest questions, even basic ones. Everyone started somewhere.
  • Sharing your wins and your losses. The losses are usually more useful.
  • Charts, ideas, and reasoning ‐ show your working.
  • Helping newer traders without talking down to them.

What'll get you a warning (or worse)

  • Spam and self-promotion. No dumping affiliate links, signal-service pitches, "DM me for my system," or referral spam. If you're here to sell, you're in the wrong place.
  • Scams and pump-and-dumps. Instant, permanent ban. No warnings.
  • Financial advice dressed up as fact. Share your view, but don't tell people what to do with their money as if it's certain.
  • Being a dick. Disagree all you like ‐ go after the argument, not the person.
  • Ban evasion / multiple accounts. One person, one account.
  • Off-topic drift in the wrong places. There's an Off-Topic area for life beyond the charts; use it.

How enforcement works

We keep it simple and human. Most issues get a friendly nudge first. Repeat or serious stuff escalates:

  1. Quiet word ‐ a mod has a friendly word or edits/removes the post.
  2. Formal warning ‐ logged against your account.
  3. Temporary suspension ‐ a cooling-off period.
  4. Permanent ban ‐ for repeat offenders or anything on the zero-tolerance list (scams, spam operations, ban evasion, abuse).

We'd much rather have a quiet word than ban anyone. Don't make us.

A note on money

Nothing on this forum is financial advice. People here share opinions, ideas, and experiences ‐ that's it. Do your own research, manage your own risk, and never trade money you can't afford to lose. If you need advice, speak to an FCA-regulated adviser.
